Now that you have installed Quo Vadis and at least one map module,
follow these steps to get started:
- View your installed applications by tapping the Applications button on your PDA.
- Launch Quo Vadis by tapping on its icon:
- Read and agree or disagree to the License Agreement
- If you agreed to the license, you will see a “startup” screen
similar to the one below.
Quo Vadis has searched your PDA for all available maps and displays a count of how many it found and initialized. If none are found, you will see an error message and you will be forced to exit the program until you have installed at least one map.
If you do not have a previous installation of Quo Vadis on your PDA, after a brief pause, you will be taken to the Map Directory, which is explained in the next section: Managing Your Maps. If you installed Quo Vadis over an older version, your Quo Vadis preferences may need to be reset or updated, and Quo Vadis will duly inform you of this fact by displaying an alert message. If your preferences didn’t need to be changed, you will be returned to your previous position and zoom level which were saved automatically the last time you used the program.
